Secluded, Unique and Breathtaking

There are 6 distinct outdoor areas that work separately or in unison, connecting seamlessly with the indoor main floor if desired. You will find secluded, intimate outdoor spaces, or inviting, large group areas around the grounds. Highlighted by stunning vistas amid gorgeous, natural landscaping and stonework, The Griffin House on the Columbia River Gorge, in Oregon, is a spectacular venue.

Many yards of level lawn and elegant, slate patios, smooth enough for high heels, abound on about an acre and a half.  Mature oaks, blue spruce, a dramatic windswept cedar, graceful maple adorned with flowering plants all bounded by a bamboo thicket and old stone walls, provide a storybook foundation of private, outdoor grandeur.  The home’s interior spaces all enjoy the vistas with an indoor/outdoor effect.

The Photo Tour will introduce you to the Outlook Terrace & Lawn, Stonewall Wedding Garden, Griffin’s Eyrie and Griffin’s Nest as well as the Epic Greens, Big Oak Courtyard and Photo Veranda. Benches, carved stone seats and other outdoor furnishings enhance our time spent outside.
